We started carying the Rosies about a week ago, and will keep them through the spring again. A LOT of people had real good luck with them on the crappie last season, especially when it got cold. We really apreciate all the business from the TFF! Thank you very much!!

I use these minnows on the Pines drift fishing for Crappie and the Crappie will hit them. I would like to try them on some of the local lakes to see how the Crappie like them.

Rosies are pink fathead minnows. How much are they per pound?

Last year they had a mix. They were smalls and medium minnows. I believe there minnows are 18 per pound for mediums and smalls. Large are a little mire expensive. I Think they only sell large by the dozen.. rosy reds wrked good last year for me and the medium ones worked well with sandies as well. Hook them how u want to. I go from the bottom of there mouths through a nostril.. strongest part of em and they last longer.. Here's a pic

North Waco Tropical Fish sells them. Crappie loved them off Eichelberger earlier this year.

Lol! Whats up Johnny. To Answer the questions our price is $17.50 a lb. Small, med, lrg, or rosies. Larges are not more same price, and we sell them by the weight also. The EXTRA large minnows are the only ones that cost more. I personaly like to use a little smaller hook. I use a #4 eagle claw aberdeen. I also like to hook them through the lips. I go up through the bottom lip and out the top. I find this works best for me, but everyone has their personal prefrence. They are small right now. They get bigger gradualy through the months on into spring. Which works perfect because I find the smaller the better for me in the winter, and bigger on into spring.

Last winter when the crappie were so gorged with shad their bellies were bulging, they would hit one of those little small rosie's on a two hook rig with 2" live shad on one hook and a rosie red on the other hook 12" away from the live shad. That's saying something right there when some bait will out perform a fresh live shad fished in identical fashion and presented to the same fish. I picked up a half pound from Fisherman's last weekend and I tell you what, there's a whole bunch of those little guys in a half lb. Best bargain there is on live minnows right now. I fish them on a small wire cricket hook 10"-12" above a jig and let the crappie decide which one they want. Good job with getting that bait shop back going good again. Hope you guys continue to do well with it!
