pretty new here love this site have learned alot. i have been to bachman twice so far fishing and looking around have not caught anything. i have tried the creek out to lemmon bridge with out even a nibble.i have been trying crappie jigs with a slip bobber and tryied some rosie red minnows this morning with no success.found a deep spot in the creek i tried this morning few fish busting the top and some shad jumping around but nothing wanting my baits. alot of that area is pretty shallow. im looking for some crappie and could use any advise that yall could give? should i try down by the damn in deeper water or work the banks till i find something just need some one to send me in the right direction. i will probly be out there again this evening so if you see some one with a chocolate lab fishing thats probly me stop and say hi. hope to get on some crappie this year. good luck out there guys to hope to meet some of yall this winter. o and if some one could tell where the closest place to get minnows is i would greatly appreciate it.
fished bachman from 3 to a little after 6 caught 3 small crappie and some lg mouth and a few perch. the later it got the better the bite got missed a lot of fish but it was nice just to catch a few crappie even if they where small. thanks for the advice will take pics next time left the camera at the house. there where some big fish busting not sure what it was probly carp. there seems to be a lot of shad in that lake guess thats why the fish get so big? till next time tight lines
i was far up the creek today behind the apartments. i seen some pretty big fish swimming around. cast after cast i didnt get one nibble. who is this bachman Master i should talk to? its the closes area i can fish. some one guide me towards the right path please...
