bucketmouth and lady62bass will be in San Antonio by Friday the 25th or Saturday the 26th. We had our first snow fall here in the Twin Cities and I slipped and fell on our driveway. Ready to be in warmer temps.

Welcome to Texas, there are many different fishing opportunities and it sure beats the heck out of long winters.

We are staying at Candlewood Suites for about a month while we try to find a place to rent on a more permanent basis. Any storage facility recommendations where I can store my boat? Don't want it to stay in the hotel parking lot.

You will luv Texas. My job took me there for three years and I really miss the weather. Of course I was close to Falcon lake. How sweet is that

Haven't been on this forum much since moving here. Been busy with the new job putting in some long hours and on our down time looking for housing. We basically scrapped the idea of looking for a townhouse/apartment. We have looked at some house rentals in the NW area aound the 78251 zip code. We are going to visit some homes with a realtor this weekend so we can see the layouts. While driving around some neighborhoods I finally saw a couple of boats parked. I was beginning to wonder where all the boaters were. lol. Still waiting for my POD to be delivered to storage facility. Getting used to the highway system, it is different. Still don't have my bearings without my gps.

I live in NW san antonio (78255) and the reason you dont see boats around the houses is because they are all parked in storage facilities. Keep in mind when looking at homes that 90% of the HOA's in these newer subdivisions do not allow you to park your boat at your house. You have to pay to park it somewhere else!

Storing boat inside your garage isn't acceptable?
