ive seen a huge interest in deep diving rods here lately and all i can say is that the Duckett 7.11mh is the way to go. If you haven't tried this rod it is unbelievable. Super light yet very sensitive but with a backbone that can pull them from the depths. Very well worth it and under the $200.00 price range.

St. Croix, you do not have to spend 200 to get a good rod.

H&H Crankbait series 7'11 is the best rod that I have used for deep diving cranks.

Powell makes a 7'11 that is good.

I've used Falcon Lowrider 8' crank rod before, but my main crank rod is a Quantum KVD 7'11". I'll prolly pick up a Duckett because they seem to have a great rep on this board.

This rod would be right around $200 but worth it.
