Near Nuthin' Outdoorsman Registered: 02/23/05 Posts: 194 Loc: Texas	Off The Bone, Manfield - The best brisket in the DFW area. Excellent ribs too. Cooper's Ft. Worth - The best BBQ pork chop & chicken I've had. Excellent free beans, and I love their thin vinegar/pepper sauce for the meat. Don't care for the open pit brisket & ribs - they taste more like they were baked than smoked. If you don't know how to order sticker shock at the register can be a major bummer. Sadly Angelo's BBQ has been on the downslide since Angelo passed away back in 1997 The last time (2 mos. ago) I met a couple of old friends there I wouldn't even call the BBQ average. Kinda of a shame - at one time Angelo's had some of the best BBQ in the state.

If there was a thing such as 10 thumbs up...thats what me and my wife would give it. http://www.mikeandersonsbbq.com/ Get this!! He closes on Sundays, and Monday thru Saturday is only open from 10 till 2:30!!! OH, and you will probably stand in line for some outstanding 'Q. _________________________
