Headed out to Lake Arrowhead this morning despite the nasty wind forecast. Sam (sam sam the mex) met me at the ramp, caught bait pretty easily then went looking for the fish. We ended up with 12 total on the clicker, most were very nice eaters in the 3-7 lb range, couple of dinks, and these two pictured. We had to cut the trip short due to the wind, got pretty rough out there! Good Times! My lil 17#  Sam's 13#

Man I am headed out there tomorrow. You fishing deep, shallow, drifting? Where did you catch the bait. I haven't been out there since July.

We fished in 6 to 8 ft, thats the only place the wind would allow. You can catch bait anywhere on that lake, they are thick! We caught ours at the state park ramp. Better check the wind forecast, if we wouldnt have been in the toon we wouldve been in trouble!

Yeah the forecast looks more pleasant for tomorrow although I plan on taking my toon anyways. So did y'all stay close to the state park to fish? I haven't fished in so long I can't wait. Tomorrow will be my first day off in 35 days.

We were about mid-lake on the west side. It was the only place we could get out of the extremely rough water.

We Caught 15. Got 2 12lbers, a 15 And a dozen box fish from 2-8 lbs. Had to move around a lot
to get em. Just picked up 1 or 2 at most spots and would get them by the time the last rod was out. And the bait was thick like you said. 2 throws and had more than enuff. Caught them on wind blown banks and timber in 5-6 ft of water. Thanks again for the help yesterday.

Thanks guys! Id really like to hit that lake in favorable conditions. I think it couldve been really good! 3 - 4ft rollers arent fun to look at when you try to catch fish!

Went out with Gary Rogers today--he smoked me pretty good. We caught 26 box fish up to 9 pounds. Weather was great and we had a super day!! Arrowhead was beautiful and Gary's bait worked it's magic---thanks for a great day Gary---------
