it sucks thats so far from tyler, I would be interested in doing this, sounds fun. I'm an IAFF member local 291 Lancaster Ohio and I'm planing a fishing trip out there in march. but ill be staying in Tyler with my friend, looks like a pretty far drive on google maps

I will be woth the drive. It is 10hrs from me. This tournament is alot of fun, and the more participants we have the better chance of getting more sponsors for next year.

anyone thats a fireman and likes to fish needs to come out and fish this tournament. We had a great time last year getting to know people from around the state and enjoyed some great fishing. Tell anyone that may be interested and look forward to seeing you out there.

Only two teams coming down from Killeen this year. Lots wanted to fish, but just couldnt make it happen. If someone needs a partner last minute, I know there is a Chief in Georgetown area looking for a boat/partner. He fished it last year with us but from what I heard his boat is giving him troubles.

You can still register at choke canyon lodge Friday march 2nd at 6:00-7:00. We will have forums there but please bring cash. Look forward to seeing ya there.
