Hey BB. May be heading out lookin for kittys this afternoon. Anyone know where to get shad this time of year? This will be my first time to ever be on the lake in November.
Anybody fish any more? Hybrids have been awesome. Catching limits of 6 to 8 lbers. Guess their fattening up for winter. Beginning to see a few gulls too.
I am thinking about hitting Belton thanksgiving weekend with my daughter and a buddy of mine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mr.G, Sharc any suggestion on areas to focus on and places to catch bait or would it be better to bring shad?

Is there any place on the lake to grab lunch or something? Will be out there this Sunday with two little girls ages 7 & 6, and want to know if I need to pack more than just snacks.
Went to Belton Sunday for the first time. What a pretty lake. Looks like I am going to have start making regular trips up there. Thanks to Wiper Striker for getting me headed in the right direction. Caught some nice hybrids and one lone kitty.

What ramps are open on Belton? I'm going to be in Central Texas Tuesday-Sunday. Haven't fished Belton since I moved to the Houston area from Waco. Loved fishing Belton when I was in Waco.
I have been seeing them white birds . You must be feeding them pop corn to get them to hit that water like that . Time to bring out the sinking line on my fly rod
