Im looking to buy a new electric fryer My frydaddys to small and my propane cooker is to big and to much trouble I usually just cook for four or five people Any suggestions Thanks f i

a thick walled soup pot on the stove works great in my house, also a cast iron skillet.

My wife and kiddos bought me one of these Emeril L. deep fryers several years ago. Best fryer I've ever used. It's not lest expensive by any means, but it works great. Fried up a nice batch of fresh catfish fillets this evening.

I cook it outside on the BBQ grill side burner. Keeps it from smelling up the whole house.

Yes, it has a basket you can hang and let oil drip. Also has a drain valve to drain oil after it cools. makes cleanup real easy. It has a thermostat which will control temp at 175*. Most oil will not burn at this temp.

There are only two of us. This is what I do. I use a deticated 3 quart pot. It workd fine.
