Just playin around again but I really do like this stuff.

The second shot is a top view. Notice how the shape of a shad can be mantained.

Bring about 6 of those next time we fish, and I'll let you know if the crappie like them. That's looks really interesting.

This will catch the mess out of them, very good shad imitation.

Here's a link showing the "fly" version of an EP Shad. Not the easiest to tie but they DO look good in the water and catch fish.

Man, that's neat. I bet that would be your daily allowance of fiber if you swallowed that. Lol

EP makes so many great synthetic fibers and I like it as well. Been thinking about buying some to the brushes they make.

Nice Tie!

EP makes a Crustacean fiber that provides a 'crunch' when fishing for fish that feed on critters that have hard shells.

Sometimes, when I can't get EP, I'll use cactus chenille. Works almost the same. C2

I ordered some last week, should be here today. Looks like a great jig to spider rig with in the winter time. The place that i ordered it form seemed reasonable in price. Been practicing on buck hair and getting some good looking jigs.
