Sharks move up and down the beach with the bait. Best bet is in the summer time. Drive down the beach looking for pelicans diving into the water catching bait, that is where the fish will be.

Jamaica beach is probably your best bet or the south side of San Luis -

I would try to get the freshest bait you can - net the biggest mullet you can find - or see if you can get some FRESH bonito from a bait shop - it really needs to be fresh bleedin bait, jacks make great bait but its a little late in the year to catch em - a fresh cut 2# chunk of jack almost guarantees shark along the beachfront, cow nose, chunks of stingray, croaker and whiting are all good baits.

Freeport on the beach south of the ship channels

There are still lots of shark around , but more bulls and sandbar, silky sharks whould be showing up now

If you haven't fished shark from shore before , I suggest going to Nickaways site for tutorial (Breakaway Tackle)
