i imagine it all has to do - like ox190 said - with what your normal habits are. now that i think about it, it's nothing to drink a couple 24oz glasses of whole milk with breakfast or lunch, or watching tv. i love milk. You're gonna get kidney stones with that much calcium. Least that is what I was told many years ago. I quit drinking milk in my 20's. Except for an occasional bowl of cereal. I'll defer to the Medical gurus on here.

thats why were doing it today, i just took down the gallon of water. i know its lighter but its still a gallon, i just feel like its thanksgiving night and im plum full! Now you got no room for the milk till the water clears out. What time you gonna try for the milk?

the body moves water different than milk, the milk gets sorta digested while water flows on through, the milk will sit in the stomach longer

Google it. I think you're gonna fail. Lots of videos. Sarah Ash, a professor of nutrition at North Carolina State University, comments that the primary difficulty in completing the challenge lies in the limited capacity of the stomach. Generally, the stomach can hold only half a gallon. Stretch receptors in the organ sense when its limit is reached, triggering a vomit reflex. Moreover, drinking a gallon of milk is more difficult than drinking a gallon of water. The fat and protein in milk both inhibit the stomach from releasing its contents into the small intestine, forcing more of the liquid to remain in the stomach.[4] Milk is also preferred to water, because of the risk of water intoxication.
