Went by last night after work and had a good time. Caught 9 LMB and 5 bluegill. Largest bass was about 1.5 lbs but still fun. Noticed a group of 4 sitting in lawn chairs with a large cooler, thought I saw them put a fish in. Later when I returned to that pond they were gone but 5 dead LMB in the water. Another fisheman said they got caught by the game warden and all got tickets - YES!
Bass were caught on shallow crank bait and popper top water.
I fish there frequently. Every time that I see anybody trying to keep fish I remind them they are not allow to. I'm glad that they were busted. Glad to see the GW's are around.

I'm really glad to hear that. A lot of LMB were pulled off their beds in the spring and put in coolers. Allegedly to be relocated in the pond upstream.

Probably by people that don't understand that LMB needs specific environments. People don't do research before relocated bigger bass. I know I've thought about it, but my better instincts have have told me no.

How are you guys catching LMB here ? I always see a few big fish in water but cannot for the life of me get them to bite ! What are you using !? I normally fish the pond with the big grate thing that drains water because this is where I see all the LMB but cannot catch a thing !
My bigger fish have come on top water (small black/chrome popper)at dusk. Watch for activitiy in the shallows. Make long cast, water is clear and they can see you long before you see them.
