I haven't been there since last year.

The last time my son and I went we caught fish all over the lake (main lake off points, in the creeks, near boat houses & docks, deep, shallow....) We used Zoom green pumpkin finesse worms C-rigged.

I look forward to hearing your report.

Tight lines

Shaky head around the docks and a light C-rig on main lake points. A small scrounger with a fluke jr. will also catch a lot of fish.

The lake is turning over and fairly dirty.Took my wife out for a fun trip Saturday from 7 a.m. till noon.We caught a bunch of small bass on c-rig,t-rig,spinners,cranks.The north ramp is useable, the loading dock is not. drove the boat back onto center of ramp to load.Be careful of hazards, especially rocks and shallow points that extend well out into the lake or hump up farther out in the lake.We tried to locate sandbass also but no luck.they will be back on after the turnover settles.

I am headed out to Moss on Friday. Are there any Smallmouth in the lake?

Where do they hang out if so?

I have caught a couple trolling cranks down the north side of lake. That area is very dangerous with the water down.I have also heard story from reliable folk about a couple bigguns caught off stump timber also on north side of lake. There is a lot of what I would call goodlookin smallmouth areas in Moss Lake. The lake had a big infestation of kentucky bass a while back.It was stocked fairly recently with some more largemouth. The turnover should be about done now.Good luck to ya.A report would be great also,i might hit it this weekend myself.

Hit Moss on Friday for about 5 hours. Post front and blue bird, so probably fished slower than normal. Still caught a number of fish. Largest a little over 3 lb. Most came from between docks. Not much luck up on north end of lake. KVD 1.5 sexy shad and 6 inch lizard did all the damage. Fun little lake, about the 4th time to fish it and always seem to catch numbers.
