It was a crisp 40 degrees this morning, a good morning to make pumpkin bread. Walnuts and cranberries on the inside, streusel and maple glaze on the outside.

Back home, we don't use the streuesel...but, miss it like crazy ! From, of course, gasp !, massachusetts...sorry, but good eats to be found up there this time of year !!!! OMG, so very different than here....been back here, after military, since 92....still crave a few things !
I make pumpkin bread with spice cake mix and ready to use pumpkin mix. Substitue the pumpkin mix for the liquid in the spice cake directions. Bake in a bunt pan. I like to dust it with a little bit of powdered sugar when it is cooled off. Slice into sliced bread sized pieces.
