We went to Lake Waxahachie this afternoon to search for some blue cats... This is what we found:

there is another ramp south of that one...put in there...but could not get boat off trailer and diesel truck's muffler was under water... so, we went to bardwell for the evening. Caught 3 fish and chilled out.

There are 2 ramps south of that ramp, Middle ramp is only ramp I seen anyone use when it started getting low.

yep...the far south one is totally out of commission...we tried the middle ramp but 30ft out past ramp it's only 2ft deep.

In was thinking of going tonight but chose not to go. I was going to try and make it up in the morning. The middle ramp is what I had in mind. I guess that will not be happening! Thanks for the heads up.

DON'T use middle ramp! Busted my LED tail light on trailer backing down into water.

Bummer! I guess my home lake is off limits for a while. Where on Bardwell do you launch now? It is either that or take the drive to RC or Twak.

lauch at highview park...ramp is good there. Fish are in 14ft of water.

Now is the time to learn about the value of yaks, canoes, busters, and small vessels we can carry. If we want to fish from a boat., we might have to get smaller boats.
Texas might be the place to buy big boats and haul them to states with flood problems.
