wheres is a fun camp site no more then 4 hours from DFW without a burn bank? im thinking arkansas or oklahoma would be my best bet. anyone ever do any camping in either of them 2 states that has a burn ban LIFTED?

been a few years but we camped at keystone ... couldn't tell ya what the places were called ... fished below the dam ... may be over 4 hours from you

looked at a map ... we stayed at the keystone state park, south side of the dam & the other place may have been salt creek cove

How about Lake DeGRay in Arkansas. It would be right at 4 hours from DFW down I-30 (Arkedelphia). Beautiful lake.
