Seven Coves Bass Club Hosts Annual Event Benefits Area Children

Lake Conroe, Texas - The 4th Annual Seven Coves Bass Club’s Fall Bass Classic, benefiting the Montgomery Food Pantry BackPack Program, will be held Saturday, November 19. The event will be hosted at April Plaza Marina on Lake Conroe.

The entry fee for the 2-Man Team Bass Tournament is $100 per team, with a sidepot for big bass. Also, on-site registration will still be accepted from 5:00 to 6:00 a.m. the morning of the tournament. Due to the current water levels on Lake Conroe, anglers are encouraged to visit our website or Facebook page for updates on the event.

There are children in our area that rely on resources such as free or reduced-priced school lunch, during the school year. The BackPack Program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children when other resources are not available, such as weekends and school vacations.

“The annual tournament has raised thousands of dollars for the Backpack Program”, said Tournament Director Matt Russell. “The number of children in need of this program has increased, and the tournament proceeds will help fill these needs.”
