Yesterday Steve,Chris and myself decided to hit the Brazos up like we did last weekend.Steve and I arrived a litlle after 7 a.m. and started unpacking our gear.Chris showed up shortly there after and we got to setting up.Somewhere around 8 we had our lines in the water and the wait was on.Chris was on the left,Steve on the right, and I was in the middle. The first run came on my left rod around 9:35 and weighed in at 19.8 lbs. After that there were a couple more caught that were between 10 to 14 lbs. Then about 10:30 Chris got a run that ended up being a nice 27 lb buffalo. There were moments when the bite slowed and continued to pick back up as always. There were hook pulls and a few snags along the way costing us a few fish. We were all catching and having a good time.Round about 3:10 there was a double between Chris and Steve. No weights were taken on most of the fish caught.More fish were caught then around 4:00 there was another double produced. At 4:30 Chris got another run which ended up being a 6 lb fully scaled mirror.More runs can and I had a reel brake down on me while I had a fish on.It was a sight to be seen at this point. We had taken the spool off and had to do things manually. Chris had the spool in hand I had the line and Steve had the rod in hand.Steve would say reel and I'd pull line in as Chris put it back on the spool. Then we'd here drag, drag causing us to release line out.I may have lost a reel, but the fish was brought in none the less.Wish we would've had video of it all. At some point we had a tripple of which no pics were taken. Then at some point Steve and I had a double on and I had more reel issues. At this time I decided I'm off of Diawa Regals Plus bri reel.Somwhere in the mix we thought we had another tripple and still can't figrue this out.Chhris and Steve ended up with fish and I had a wet T Shirt that had managed to make a run on one of my rods. Just shy of 6:00 there was another double between Chirs and Steve.Just after 6:30 Chris brought in another fully scaled mirror at 8 lbs. There were a few more runs to be had of which most were on Chris's rods. All in all it turned out to be a real nice outing with over 20 fish on the bank.We will be going back without a doubt. And now witout further jibber jabber here come the pics.(The correct dat is the 24th not the 23rd which is on the pics.Camera settings were off) 19.8 lbs 27 lb Buff 1st Double 2nd Double 3rd Double 6 lb Mirror 8 lb Mirror
P.B. Common 31.6 lbs Mirror 28.4 lbs Koi 11.0 lbs Grasser 49.0 lbs Buff 41.4 lbs CAG Big Carp Tackle

There's a lot of potential for mirrors and buffs, commons as well. The fish were bigger than the last trip. They all wanted to take a hard left and fought great. Thanks for the comments guys.

lmfao. i look like im disgusted at catching these small fish. not disgusted chris but hot and tired like the rest of us, was pretty hot by mid afternoon, this place has potential for big fish, I have heard from a very good source that a 70+ buffalo has been taken from this area of the Brazos.
