What's the final results? I know Jake Wright took big fish with that 24.5. I enjoyed meeting a bunch of you guys out there. That cannon Dustin has is amazing. Good seeing Jim, Keith, Jake, Mark, and Clifton. Kevin somehow managed to stuff his phone into his dash and he had to do surgery on his truck which is what kept him from fishing for a while at least. Looks like the next one ought to be on Lake Worth. I'd bet there'd be some 40's pulled out of there.

I'd be in on Lake Worth! DCM get to work on that!

2nd big fish was 4lb 12 oz. Don't remember who. 2fish4evetything took 2nd place stringer with 10lb.

Had a great time at the bank fest. I want send a big thanks to DCM for setting it up for everyone. Had a good time bsing with everyone and getting to meet all of you. It was a dang good time and worth the drive. I'll be at the next one! I got really lucky with that 24, biggest fish Ive ever caught, about peed all over myself lol. I give all the credit to Jim to sharing his spot with me. I got some dang nice rods from deerstrangler too.

It was great to meet you Jake. And just for the record. Technically that was my spot. Jim just didn't know I had already picked it out. Haha.

Here I be:.......yup I really only fished about last 3 hrs .....talked ppl, digging my phone out of my dash......etc...I caught a big ole Skunk by the tail......So did Caribou and more than half the folks......but it was Fun (kinda..lol)

I only weighed 4 stringers and 4 bigfish(ya right Jakes stinkbait Blue was the only big fish!).

Stringers were 6 lbs 7 oz, 7 lbs. 4 oz, 8lbs. 12 Oz, 9 lbs 14 oz.

Big Fish were 3 lb 7 oz, 4 lb 8oz, 4 lb 12 oz and 24 lb 5 oz.

Congratulations to Jake Wright! He's a nice, polite younge 22 yr old channel cat fisherman from San Angelo who drove four hrs to a lake he's never fished and whooped us all by channel cat fishing for Blues and collected a cool $300 for his troubles! Pic is above somewhere.........

Oak Grove Park at GVine is nice- convienent- big- but it gots no fish!! Someone else pick a lake with fish and nice park and run one and I'll come win it!

This makes my day! DCM caught a skunk(again) no surprise there, 2Fish wins a lil green, and a young rookie comes to the north country to put it on you guys(with punchbait)!!!! Im sure glad all those baits worked out for you DCM!

I ended up not being able to go either, Bartman. One of the kids got a fever Saturday afternoon and I didn't wanna go off an hour away in case momma needed to take her into the ER. She turned out fine but to me when it comes to my kiddos: Better safe than sorry.

hate that you guys could not make it! we had a good time!

My wife and I had a good time and was nice meeting some of the other catfishermen. We got there at 9:00 AM and after throwing the next a bunch of times we finally got us some shad. Along with some perch, we had dip bait and worms also. We started baiting up at 5:00. We had 12 poles in the water and not a single bite all day or night long. Heck, even that big turtle that was hanging out around our bait was not interested in anything we had.
Way to go Jake on your blue cat catch. Hope to have another chance sometime to fish against all of you catfishermen again.
Got to see Damfisherman use his bait cannon. What an awesome rig that thing is.

by the way, Ryan, did you and D & D end up catching any more? you where right, it was a tough night!

LOL.....was totally unprepared for this, but wanted to come out anyways....Hee-Hee! Got set up late...chose a place close to a boat ramp I figured might be good after dark and the traffic on the lake goes away.....NOT!......I never saw so much carryin' on happening on a lake before. Well ok I'm lying....been to Lewisville and Travis a time or two. But maybe you guys ought to think about a tourney at say Lavon or Texoma some night. Heck you OWN those lakes after dark. Aint' nobody out there. Now what I didn't know was that my choice of fishing spots was also the local "Teenager-A-Go-Go!" It quickly filled up with young folks out to do what they do...which is fine, but not conductive to good fishing. I left after the two geniuses in the kayak paddled directly into my lines after putting in about 30 yards away from me. Met some great folks, but I was really too worn out from work to stay late and enjoy it properly. Let's do it again!

yeah, thanks guys! lol jkin. I ended up buying three, I wouldve bought more, but Ive gotta get reels for those bad boys too. I am ganna wait for the new pro angler reels to come out.

it was a long and tiring weekend with minimal results except meeting some new and friendly faces. kudos to all - especially jim for ensuring his honey hole was very fish friendly!
