This is some more quality work, from one extreme jig maker. These are really good.

Heath, that chrome head with a light gray bou tail and minnow or white/black chenille would be a good small shad/minnow imitation. Should work great in semi clear to clear water.

Thanks Ken ! I have some shad grey deer hair I may try. I did another version of a shad imitation, I'll bump it TTT. Need to test these out soon.....

Nice crappiehappy! Is that plated or Powder Paint? I can't tell from the picture and all the plated heads I have are Silver Nickel Plated.

Well It's not Pro-Tec right? Who makes it? I already have so much silver I doubt that I will really get any, but you never know because I range my mind so much.

Thanks I appreciate that.

Seems like every one I looked at said you need a clear coat over it and that brings it back to a nice SIlver. I have some silver that is pretty darn good.

I like it!

I remember reading (25 yrs ago) about making jig heads with solder; it is not quite as heavy as pure lead but leaves a shiny silver head.

Those look good. I have been using some chrome myself. You can come up with some pretty amazing paint jobs with that stuff.
