I got a couple more to ask you guys for comments so please let me know if you like it or not. Mainly the Chenille, but one I would like to hear also about the tail. Only problem is the Chart part of it is not all showing, but thin maybe you can see enough to get the idea.

Just a different tail to see it a bit different.

This one is the tail I was talking about.

Another chenille now.

And with a different color head and more of a bright pink tail.

#1; is excellent. #3; I'd put in more yellow and less black, but that's just me. #4; also very good. I like that one with the pink head on #5. The pink blue chenille looks real good. Also like the chenille on #1. And the tie job is excellent on all of them as usual. Nice work Skip.

Thanks guys!

Ken the feather I was not as clear as I should have been. That is one feather except for the fluff I added at the base. The feather is natural with the light part which is stained Chart and the Black around the out side is just the feather and not something I did. I should have put it on a different jig, but being lazy I just tried to kill two birds with one stone, LOL! The feather I think is very cool and comes from a (CDL) Coq De Leon and is rooster soft hackle from that kind of chicken. Their feather are very different from what most use and fly tyers use them a lot for lots of things and it's the oldest chicken that has been bread just for fly tying.

Skip you have stuff way over my head with all those specialty feathers. I really like the feather with the chart center. That looks good without the extra black fluff. I think the extra fluff might, when wet, lay against the chart part of the feather and hide the good contrast. If this makes sense.

Sure Ken it does, but it's hard at that angle to see the size of the chart spot. Some of these feathers have even a larger chart center. I bought a bunch of capes and soft hackle skins a while back and just getting around to using them a little. CDL is very cool stuff.

I just love these kind of feathers and have them is several colors including some speckled ones (hen saddles) with out that laced edge. I put one of the chart ones of the hens saddle on the previous post about the other new chenille. The Rooster capes have a thin hack that I also used on one of the same pervious post.
