The First Annual Red River Rendezvous will take place January 20th - 22nd, 2012 at beautiful Bonham State Park.
We have reserved the group camping facility which includes a large recreation hall with a commercial kitchen, 5 group cabins with a total of 94 beds, and the entire area that the aforementioned buildings encircle.

The event will be a reunion of fly tyers from the Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana area where we can all sit down and share and enjoy the fine art of fly tying.

This is the event formerly know as "Texoma Tie In" but bigger and better. It is now a 3 day event!!!

The park has a 65 acre lake which is stocked with bass, sunfish, and catfish which is great for bank, wade, kayak, canoe, or kick-boat fishing year around. The lake is within walking distance of the event area.

We plan on having lots of door prizes and a silent auction.

Several vendors are being invited to attend and we will update with a list as they confirm.

Mark your calenders and plan on attending. We would love to see you there.

Yes and no. We've done Texoma Tie In for 7 years. We're changing the format up to make it a 3 day rendezvous.

Oh, so you are moving it. Well this location is better for me. No Big D traffic, which is great.

Jerry: I went to your web site and signed up. I had no idea that such a facility even existed in Texas. I have been looking for an event like this ever since I first attended the Rendezvous at North Toledo Bend way back in the early 90's. I hope this event turns out to be as much fun. I am looking forward to sharing a tying table and...

I would guess you-all are going to headquarter out of the rec hall correct? How many people will that facility hold and how many do you expect to attend? It's a long drive for me but I like the idea of a tie-in on the way up to or back from Beavers Bend.

I signed up to go. But I will only stay all day Saturday, and leave Sunday. I can't go the whole weekend, although I wish I could.

What is an off-hand Woolly Bugger? Is that tying without a vise?

If you are right handed you tie it with your left and vice-versa!!! Should be fun!!!

We have over 40 folks who have said they are coming. We have room for 94 so don't miss this opportunity. Also, the park does have 21 RV sites for those who might want to bring their RV's (like my wife).

TFO and Mariner Sails will be there on Saturday to show off stuff.

TWO or more CCI's will be there to help you fine tune your casting.

We'll have a big campfire and fun sing-along Saturday night.
