My wife is fishing in the Dallas Bass N Gals tournament next weekend at Fork. They won't decide until tuesday meeting on where they are going to launch, it's a small enough group they can do that.

But I'd like a headstart on getting a parking spot. I would like full hookups and 50amp if possible for our 40ft rv. I will just be dinkin' around on saturday, they do 1 day fishing, so it would be nice if there was a fishing pier that I could get on in my wheelchair. But that would just be gravy, looking for a nice camping spot primarily.

Thanks.

I know Lake Fork in normal times. I would recommend normally the Lake Fork Marina on highway 17 south of highway 515. They have nice camping spots, etc. However, finding a pier to fish from now is a real problem as most of them are quite a ways from the water. I called a friend of mine who knows the lake better than I, and he suggested the Minnow Bucket which has campsites and may have a pier that you can fish from. It is located south of 515 going toward Quitman(don't know the highway no.). If you go there, be sure to get a hambuger at Big O Burger just north of the Minnow Bucket. Home made buns and fries and a big piece of meat.
