Yup, they stock it with stockers. Last time I was there they also had browns stocked, and they were an actual challenge. Nice scenery, and things for family to do - if that's what you're after. A real good place to take a first-timer to fly fish.

One of my first fishing trips ever was to turner falls. Great spot but I can't see how they have any water right now.

They have stocked Turner Falls this year. I took my 11 year old son up there yesterday and he had a great time.

They stocked it this year... decided to give it a try. Did catch three that were nice sized ranging from 14"-16" in size. That said, had already limited out, so the two larger ones were caught and released.

Fun stuff... there was a Park Entrance Fee ($16.00 plus tax). However, given the chance at a Bruiser or two, the ease of access, the really nice Restrooms (heated, too), and only saw two other fishermen all day, was okay with it! Video Clip.

FYI: May be of interest to some..."Turner Falls Park - Trout Fishing Day Trip". Has videos of the day's action, last fish caught that day, and detailed info about the area fished.

Back to Turner Falls yesterday. Limited out with five Rainbow Trout. Caught and released a lot more. Here is yesterday's video; little longer than others but lots of action to capture. Video Clip.

Looks like Turner Falls gets a Trout Stocking 21 November this year! Had fun last year; may need to give it a try again this year. Added links to our Weblog's latest post that may be of interest to some. Today's Post.

On the road today, heading to Oklahoma City. Noticed the big windmills as we passed the Turner Falls exit off of 35. Do not recall them being there last year.... What a difference a year makes!
