Another newbie question( I meant to hang around more last night, but wound up talking to Doug at FF counter for an hour and a half, lots of good info but I was brain dead) So we are fishing as a team right? So just 5 fish(yeah, wishful thinking ) for the boat?

And you catch some keepers! Lol We may have not cought any keepers but let me tell yall Matt Martin is an awesome tourny partner and i know it was a great pleasure to participate in this event with him! Hes a great guy and anyone that needs boat work i promise he will get it right! I cant wait to get to get out there again soon (when it cools off). Overall this tournament turned out great and there were lots of boats. It was awesome to be able to help out Colbys family. I hope next year we get an even bigger result!

I want to Thank all my sponsor's for your generosity in this time of need for a fellow fisherman's family.Mark Howard and Diane,we thank you both for your donation of salt lick product's and your time for doing this weighin for us...
Guy's and Gal's here is the Grand Total from all $7220.00 raised for this family.I truly thank each and everyone of you for coming out and making this happen. This truly speaks loudly for the fishing community in whole...
Bass Pro Shop's-Ryan,Larry,Zach,and all the others that helped we truly thank you all for all you done for us.
By the way a new jr lake record was obtained by one of Colby's best friends (Alex Barnes)he broke the old Jr. Lake record Of 8.56lbs with the biggest fish of the day at 9.27 lbs,he donated the fish to basspro who immediately took her to qaurantine to make sure she makes it,if she does he will recieve a replica of the fish from BassPro Shops.....This young man (16)also donated all of his winning's back to the family,he also had second place stringer with his partner David Choate...Mark Howard if you would please post the full results.
Well once again this forum amazed me with the turnout for this tourney on a day with a high of 107.We had 43 boats turn out for this.
A very special Thank you to the guy's who took out Colby's Friends for the day, they were critical to the success of this tourney and guy's the kids everyone i spoke with had a blast.
Thank's also to Tommy,Rockie,Brandi,Katrina,Hunter,Brian, and more for helping put this together... AND ESPECIALLY J.P.Greeson for letting us promote this event. The TFF ROCKS
Thank you Stan Browning

What an awesome event today. Thanks for allowing J C Outdoors the honor of being the TD's on this event. Diane and I both felt very blessed to do our part. I could get used to air conditioned indoor weigh ins. Continued prayers for the Finch family. I know that Colby was a fine son and heaven has been made richer with his presence. Here are the teams that made it to the pay window today. I will get full results posted tomorrow.
Big Bass: Alex Barnes 9.27 $410
1. J J Hunter/Monte Morris 17.49 $620 2. David Choate/Alex Barnes 16.74 $400 3. Brett Gifford/Bill Sterns 16.56 $300 4. J D Laughry/David Sabella 15.71 $220 5. Doug Renner/Darrell Horn 14.89 $180 6. Tommy Climer/Tony Climer 13.79 $140 7. Tucker Cappella/Keith Taylor 13.53 $125

This was my grandson that set this record. I am really proud of him. he is starting off in his granddad's shoes at 16--keep it up ALEX!! WE have a date on Fork as soon as my new boat gets here in a couple weeks. Glad i didn't fish the tourney now. I would have not known to fish where Mr. Choates took him. Thanks to all of you who had a hand in this very successful benefit tourney. This is what life's all about--helping others. Larry Barnes lake fork guide semi-retired now.
