I think the Squaw Creek tournament became inpractical expense wise.
As far as selecting Granbury, Granbury has traditionally been the initial tournament of the season for the Metroplex Region. The lake has had quite a few huge sacks come out of the first tournament of the season. Catching "overs" as well as a sound limit of "unders" can be done. No one fishes for second so; I guess Granbury is as good as any lake to begin the season.
I'm sure John & Page will do their best to make 2012 a great year of tournament fishing in C.A.S.T. Metroplex.
