Ingredients:
  • asparagus
  • sea salt
  • fresh cracked black pepper
  • olive oil

Cut the hard ends off of the asparagus. Take a sheet of foil large enough to completely wrap up the asparagus bundle. Lay the sheet flat and place asparagus on top. Lightly drizzle olive oil (not too much!) over asparagus; lightly sprinkle sea salt and black pepper. Roll up and seal foil packet and place on grill; turn packet occasionally. After 10-15 minutes, open packet and place asparagus directly on the grill for a minute or two. Remove from grill; plate and serve.

Ya don't have to use foil if you don't want to. Just put them on the grill with a little EVOO, s and P. Use tongs. Yummy!

I like to wrap it in bacon, cook it in a skillet until the bacon becomes a little crispy, unwrap, throw away asparagus, then eat the bacon. grin

Yep, that's how I cook asparagus. My wife and kids wouldn't touch asparagus until I grilled some with a little salt and pepper and olive oil on it. Kinda wish I hadn't done that - now they can't get enough of the stuff. smile
