Sweet! You found a new TM the same day that I found you a prop for yours (I think)... It was in a box in my shop from back when I worked at the boat place

I haven't bought one yet so I still have my 2005 trolling motor.

Hold out if you can until Dicks Sporting Goods clears out their old models (unless they already have). I picked up my Endura 45 for like 88 bucks last year.

Why that size Rodfather?? If you think I am faster then you now and you get jostled about now when I ram your boat with mine...thats going to be much worse when you downsize the motor smile

THe 30 is lighter. And probally uses less juice. Costs less.

Were those considerations?

Next time we fish at rope lake let's switch batteries so I can see if the problem is my motor and not the battery.

FFM,
You can take the battery over to batteries + and have them check it.
Just saying.

I think my motor is so old the brushes are worn down.

It sure eats up a lot of juice.

When they have them, you can get a reconditioned optima blue top at Pro Batteries in Fort Worth. I picked one up a few months back for $50 with a 1 year warranty (actually they gave me the battery and $27 since I sold them 9 old ones). They buy old batteries by the pound!

I have been running an Optima Blue top for two years and have been very happy with it. Never killed it once. Two thumbs up esp at that price!

I would rather have a 30" shaft instead of the 36".

Has anyone cut one down?

The shaft being too long is the only thing I don't like about my 45# Minkota. I wonder if I can swap shafts from my old 30# Endura.
