As I'm sure you are aware, Lake Fork is overrun with white bass. I don't know if we can make a dent in the population, but I want to do my part. Right now, schooling white bass are quite predictable every morning and evening. I went out the last 2 mornings and got a 2 person limit (50 fish) of keepers in only one hour. For the month of August, I'm offering white bass trips for 2 people for only $100 (3 people for $125). This barely covers my costs, but it will help rid the lake of some white bass and catching 50 fish in an hour can be a lot of fun. We will fish until we get a limit or until the bite slows down to where we go several minutes without a fish. You can expect to be back at the ramp by 9 O-clock (morning or evening). This is a great time to take a kid (or 2) to get into some unforgettable action. I'm offering these trips weekday mornings (m-f) or evenings (m-thu) through August (full moon week excluded due to night fishing). Morning is recommended as we can fish a little longer if we don't get a quick limit. You will probably get a limit or near limit on an evening trip, but once it gets dark the bite is over. There are cleaning stations with city water at the lake, so you can bring home bags of fillets fresh and ready for the freezer. I can also give lessons on cleaning fish if necessary.
If you are interested, send me an email at richie@bassfishing.org and let me know when you want to come.

I ran through schooling fish throughout the day on main lake when I was out there, I expect to do the same this weekend.

Timing is the most important thing. Get there the first or last hour of the day and look for schoolers. If the wind is less than 10mph, you should find them. I thought about posting coordinates and letting everyone know, but many of my white bass spots are my largemouth spots. I don't want the world to know those spots.

I have seen some of the most vicious White Bass schooling I have ever seen on Lake Fork. It literally looks like schooling Piranha out at times. You can hear them from hundreds of yards away when the wind is not blowing too hard.

Great idea! We gotta get these whites out of there before they have another spawn. Saw some the other day chasing and eating baby bass in the shallows. With little to no grass in most areas the bass fry have no where to hide.

Are there any other guides willing to do the same? I'd be glad to refer some trips if I get the demand.
