The only thing to see in Burleson is the population sign as you exit into Fort Worth. 15 Minutes to downtown Fort Worth, much more to do there.

There isn't much to see in Burleson. In Old Town they have a Babe's Chicken dinner, and a JJ's Oyster Bar that are both good.

Up on 35 South between Alsbury and the Crowley/Rendon exit they have all the chain restaraurants and an Academy Store.(Cotton Patch, Chik-Fil-A, Red Lobster, Mexican Inn, Logan's, Outback, Spring Creek BBQ, etc) If you're in the mood for a burger they just opened a new place called Mooyah Burgers across the parking lot from the Academy - they make a pretty tasty burger...

But like someone else said - best to head into Ft. Worth if you want any real entertainment. grin

Benbrook Lake is 15 minutes west , water is down about 4-4 1/2 ft. I would go to Mustang Park and Bank Fish the south side from the 2-lane Boat Ramp to the Point..Take FM 1187 west , follow the Signs.

Go to Omar's up on Oak Grove Rd. if your still underage and hankering for a beer. At least that was my plan of attack back in '83.
