I put the Navionics application on my iPad before Lake Fork this weekend. What an amazing application, it blows away the Hook-n-Line, Fishing Hot Spots, and AID paper maps I also bought. I might actually throw them away because they really were useless compared to the Navionics.
I do have a couple questions or problems with it though...
1) why isn't the middle of the lake mapped? much of the main lake area and up the west Lake Fork arm isn't graphed.
2) how do you get the Lat Long from a created waypoint? I figured out how you can search a Lat Long and then create a waypoint from that, but when I created a waypoint by pressing the screen and didn't see any way to get its Lat Long. The time consuming work around was to search a Lat Long waypoint until you got it right on top of your Waypoint and then save that.
Thank you, rob
