The pictures don't do this boat justice. I have been lucky enough to fish falcon, amistad, fork and lots of Oklahoma lakes out of it. It really handled rough water on falcon well. You won't find one better taken care of either. Bump for a good buddy.

I dont know how the fishing is in Texas right now but at Eufaula it is on.

Has anybody been to Falcon lately? Where is the best place to stay? Thanks for the info.

Reports are that they are catching 5 to 7 pounders by the 100's at Falcon right now.

We got some needed rain along with some strong storms,blew down lots of trees and buildings. The fish hasn't been so bad when I get to go,how about some of you guys?

I have never ridden in a Champion I did not like. Nice rig! Wish I had the money. 3 in college at the same time drains the funds.

What happened to Champion as a company? Were they just sucked up by Ranger Enterprise or did they fold altogether...either way they are not anywhere to be found.

I understand the cost of school. The owner of Champion took their retirement money ,then Platium out of California bought them along with Ranger and others. Have a nice day.

They still make them but they are under the Stratos name now same hull design basically same features just called a Stratos Elite now.

Nice Champion. I've got an older one that I really like. I wish I could afford to upgrade to one like yours. I'm going to Eufaula this weekend if you have any tips I'd appreciate it.

It was tough this weekend out of 48 people and 2 days we weighted in about 244lbs. Couldn't find a pattern other than crank rock all day. Some where on points some were not. I was catching Smallies, Spots and Largemouth but had to catch about 10 fish to get 1 keeper and it took all day to get 10 in the boat. Had several come off and unfortunately a few where good fish. Everyone I talked to said they where fishing rock and rip rap with a crankbait to catch their fish as well and felt like it was just a case of putting the bait in the fishes face.

How is the fishing in Texas ? Some of the torn. around here have had small weights compaired to whats ben caught in the past.Maybe it will be beter.

would you buy a boat that is no longer being made? im looking at couple of Champions but what scares me is what if I have hull problems or integrity of boat malfuntions

I currently have a 2000 model champion and will buy another if the chance is there when I'm able to start dealing.

Ranger is covering the hull's, they fixed one for a buddy of mine. I will add my Hummingbird side image 997 the price will go up to $34,700.

I loved my Champion, great boat.

Hey bud, I'm kinda glad you still have this boat. It will be hard to beat in a couple weeks on falcon, especially if it's rough.
