Well, we ended up with over 40. Not stellar, but not terrible. I blew it on what I think was 2 big fish, broke 30 lb power pro. The 25lb Seaguar is holding up ok, but must retie often as it takes a beating down here. The trusty old Big Game in 20 lb has actually been the most reliable. The fish bit the entire time we were out, and they bit a buffet of baits. We have some nice pics and videos, which I will post after we get back or I will ask Jersey Dan to help me tomorrow.

Well, chillin back at the swimming pool. We found them good this morning. Had an 8, two 7's, and 30 plus more (most around 4 and 5 lbs). All but a few on a Santone Jig. Next trip I am wearing gloves so my hands don't get so chewed up. Gonna go retie and prep for another round 2.

We had some topwater action last night and this morning and a ton of little fish. Then we moved down lake and caught quiet a few on cranks again. Wife had one bush her that was over 8 we just could not get to it in time before it sawed her off. But none the less this has been a great trip down here. My son and wife have caught a ton of fish and I have not done bad either. I know I could probably catch some pigs deeper but it is just hard to leave the 5 lbers on the bank with the family in the boat!!!lol I am pretty shure if I went off pitching and deep jig fishing they would hang me.
Well we are going to chill in the room for a while and get ready for the evening trip .

Well we just got back in the room from the evening fishing. And to say it was awesome would be a understatement. Son had his best 5 fish were probably about 14 lbs, Wifes best five close to 20 and my best five close to 25. Big fish today was just under 8. Man I love this lake!! Sadly Tomorrow is our last day but it has been a great vacation. Amistad, Rockport, and Falcon!! Life is GOOD
Oh and one more thing. I have a tuff wife. she got a hook from a crank bait in her thumb with a fish hanging on the other end buried deep. We cut the hook off she pushed it thru, we cleaned and put antibiotic on it. I asked if she wanted to go in she looked at me like I was crazy, heck no. I had the big fish after that and we had two triples after that. Got to love a tuff wife!!
