Caught them on a top water minnow bait. They hammered that thing. I had caught like 3 more but they came off the hook =(.

I've been trying to talk my wife into going there so she can catch a few nice LMB's. I love topwater action.

Looks like the place is shut down for most of us. There are now two residents only signs posted near the pond.

I passed by Friday to test out a new rod and I believe I saw a sign saying the pond was for use of the neighborhood residents. I was parking when I saw it and never got out of the car. I'll have to go check again. I'll most likely go wednesday if it isn't raining.

Went today for 15 mins an caught this 2. I was using a 2 and half inch white flukeon a 1/16th jig head. And yes i did see the signs that said u have to be a resident in the area. Luckily my gf lives there.

Stopped by the pond behind the mountain creek library for the first time today. Caught this one on about my 3rd cast. She weighed just under 5 lbs on my hand scale and her belly felt completely empty.
