Just got back home from a week in Dominican Republic. My son and I got to take a Half day deep sea fishing trip, a first for both of us. Here are a few pics.

Those are some nice lookin' Dorados. Quite a healthy black marlin too! What did those suckers weigh? And please tell me those dorado's were cooked! smile

The Dorados averaged between 15 to 20 pounds, the White Marlin went around 80 pounds. All fish are sold to to the fish market in Punta Cana for $1.00 a pound.

I don't remember the name of the charter, it was booked with part of our timeshare package at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana.

Awesome! I'm getting married there in December and taking the fellas on a fishing trip. How was your captain and the trip? Recommend him?

The captain and the first mate did an excellant job of putting us on the fish, my son and I did a half day charter at $125.00 each which was a good price. They offered to clean the fish and ship them on dry ice back to Ft Worth for us, but we let them keep them to sell to the local fish market. I wish I could remember the name of the charter but it slipped my mind. They even furnished beer and soft drinks free of charge
