robin, for those that live in the arlington, grand prarie, mansfield, and even fort worth areas, the Fort Worth Fly Fishers meet at Cafe Alcopulco at the corner of Pleasant Ridge and Green Oaks. We typically gather from 6pm-8pm. We tie some, eat some, and on ocassion, sip a cold one!!

There is also an awesome class that meets at Backwoods on Wednesday night, to swap stories and tie with one of the best, Stephen Woodcock. I believe they start at 6:00pm, but I would call to make sure.

SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH
Red River Fly Fishers meet at Gander Mountain - Sherman
7PM in the front lobby.
We have changed to a roundtable fly tying format.
Each tyer is encouraged to bring two of their favorite patterns to share with the group.

Dallas Fly Fishers tie every Wednesday at two locations: Bass Pros Shops, Garland at 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. and Cabela's, Allen at 5:30 - 9:00 p.m.

The DFF also meets to tie flies on Saturdays at Bass Pro Shops, Grapevine at 8:30 a.m. - whenever you get tired.

We meet at each shop's fly fishing area.

The Laguna Madre Fly Fishers of Corpus Christi meet every third Thursday evening each month at 7 for tying roundtable. This is just prior to our monthly outings that happen on the third weekend, so we have a great chance to tie for the upcoming event (everything from guad river trips to overnight jetty trips) and enjoy some camaraderie.

Time - 7pm til everyone leaves... on third Thursday of each month

The Brazos Valley Fly Fishers are meeting on the second Thursday of the month at the Gander Mountain in College Station at 7 p.m.
This month, the Mono-Tailed Dragonfly and Surf Candy flies will be demonstrated.

Central Texas Fly Rodders Fly tying at
The OUTHOUSE in Waco on Franklin Ave.
First Saturday of each month
10am ---untill whenever (usually around 12:30pm)

The Outhouse has a great inventory of fly tying materials !!

Looks like DFF has upped the ante - Both Bass Pros and Cabela's on the same - every Wednesday night - schedule. Now, that's commitment.
