Anyone fish the Chocolate bayou area??? I just bought a boat and want to put my 12 year old son on some fish. Don't want him to loose interest if I can't find a decent spot. Thanks.

Just a thought....

Try running back into alligator lake. Or the icw. Fish the shore. Live shrimp maybe. I always throw soft plastics. Texas roaches work well

There is good red fish in there during incoming tides. In the colder weather around January through March you will find speckle trout in there as well.

Additionally, be aware of the bacteria that was found in Greens Bayou recently that was responsible for one man's death. The details have been on the local Houston news TV channels and websites. Good luck!

Check in at Lutes and ask for help. They're very friendly and know Chocolate backwards & forwards.
