Gotcha covered Russ. Always looking for good spots in the Austin area, so keep 'em coming.
Ok, so with Russ's post, I just posted the 199th fishing spot.
So, who's going to be the one to post the
200th spot??!!
Whoever that person is will one an all expenses paid[by you] bank fishing trip to the fishing spot of your choice with[or without, your choice] your wife/significant other, kids[whether you have any or not], and all of your relatives! This is a rare opportunity, so send me that rare, undiscovered location today!
Also, we're still at around 435,000 hits since I started this map 2 years ago, and I'm thinking that we should be above 500,000 by now. So that means that you guys must not be fishing enough, not using the map enough, not telling your friends about it, or something! So, start using the map - I have a reputation to think about!
And, one last thing. My good buddy Matt Dobson, just launched a new application for the iPhone called "Fishing Scout". It's a great way to share what you're catching and where for you iPhone users. I hope that all of you iPhone guys and gals will download Matt's app and give it a try.
Oh, and one more last, last thing and I promise this really is the last thing. A lot of you have expressed your appreciation on the map, and I've run into a number of you on the water who are using the map. Just so, you know, I didn't create this map all by myself. When I started 2 years ago, I scouted some spots on Lake Lewisville, created the map and started promoting it. It took off from there, and there have been many, many contributors since then - so thanks to everyone for their support.
I'd love to hear stories (and see pics) of what people are catching at the spots on the map - I mean what better way to get people excited about bank fishing and fishing a given lake or spot than to hear what people are catching there, right?? So, share your stories and post 'em here. And remember
That's all for now.....now go drown' some worms...
