You must not be familiar with how Google maps works.

You have to zoom in to expand out all those clusters of pins. When you do that it will only show the pins in a desired area and it won't look like a mass of fish on a feeding frenzy. smile

This used to work on my phone now I'm having trouble. I click the link and it pulls up Google maps but that's it. Doesnt pop up any spots or anything. Is there a setting I need to adjust?

Not sure what to tell you. Just checked it on my Samsung S5 and had no problem. What phone and browser are you using?

Thinking of hitting fishermans park in Bastrop tomorrow morning. Fish the Colorado river. See if it produces anything for me

I will be in Fredericksburg Texas, the first week in April. I want to take either my Fly rod or lite spinning rig or both and try some bank fishing. I don't know the area at all. I would really appreciate a little help in the form of advice and or directions of the areas. I will be at East Creek street in Fredericksburg.

Thank You in advance

The map legend says there are now 2 pages to the map and to scroll down to bottom of page and click the logo. For the life of me, I scroll down and don't see any link to a 2nd page. Does any one else have this problem or am I blind? Any further instructions is very much appreciated.

I couldn't get it to work on my S6, but it works fine on my computer. I used the temporary link on page 19.

The Texas Google map is online and does not require a password.

Seven years ago, I developed this map as a way of marking and tracking my own personal fishing spots. As it grew, I shared it with my fellow fishermen here on the Texas Fishing Forum. It quickly grew in popularity with spots being added weekly.

Today the map has grown from 10 spots on Lake Lewisville to a statewide map with over 250 fishing spots and nearly 1 million views.

None of this would have been possible but without contributions from the members.on TFF.

Late in 2016 my wife and I retired to our own special fishing spot in East Texas. As a result I've decided to no longer accept new spot submissions. The map will still remain available for use, but in a static form.

Many thanks to all who contributed. It's been a fun ride.

Tight Lines!
