Relax & Guarding

Awake and now really Guarding!!!!

I was gonna ignore the guard and visit the homeowner underneath, but then, the guard looks like he was in a bad mood (venomous or not) so I tossed in a nibble to feed the homeowner and move on my way...Do you think anybody home beside the guard?...sigh...hehehe

I was on a creek on LL today and heard something that I thought was a bird, but I had never heard one make that sound, so I got tho looking around on the bank and saw that a snake had found himself a frog. I hate snakes so I trolled on down the creek and gave him his space.

I would have fought him for that spot. Those branches have crappie cover written all over them.

I would have moved on. 2 or 3 times in my life I have had to beat them with a paddle because they were trying to crawl in the boat. I'm definetly not crazy about them.

Gamo air rifle will dispatch the guard and allow you entry to the crappie fortress.

That is exactly why I try to keep an extra old pole with me...Ive made a few snakes curl up in my day. I brok my last one this past summer. As I broke it because it pretty much on land right next to me (night fishing)and was continuing to wack at it because I was not seeing it curl too much an old man and his grandson crested the hill behind me. I told him there was a snake and I was not a crazy person.

I would just keep moving ... plenty of places to fish.

My buddy would pull out the shotgun and shoot it cuz he hates snakes and then move on.
