made a few trips this week. my big bass are a 9.3, 6.5, and 5.15. also landed a 15 lb blue cat on a blue/fleck craw-tube. they all came from 3-4 ft next to the creek channel. i have pics but still not sure how to load them, any volunteers ?

where is phelps lake? how big is it?

Their was a post about this lake awhile back. Sure seemed like it was a BIG hoax. NO one could post actual directions that someone could find the lake.

Never been there myself, but it appears to be in Rockwall. Is this a private lake? What about the other small lake on the map?

It is listed as a community fishing lake by tpwd. I will have to check it out soon. Is it bank fishing only or can you use a kayak or jon boat?

Community fishing lake sounds private to me.

I'd love an update however, always looking for quality water.

Again, never been there but community fishing lakes listed on the tpwd website are public. They are generally located in local city parks.
