want to get together somewhere between Galveston and East Matagorda next weekend to try to catch a fish? I'm planning on making a wade next weekend, and thought I would see if anyone wanted to get together and wet a line. I'm planning on taking fly and devil-tackle...this will also be my first ever wade so I'm open to whatever.

Well, unless there will be cold Shiner/Coors/anything else other than Bud Light to drink afterwards(and I have a feeling you won't be there to chat it up with), I'm probably going to chase some non-stocked fish, hopefully get sun-burnt, and pick wind knots out of my line by myself(or with some other fool that feels like joining me).

Well, I'd buy you a cold adult beverage afterward, just not on the grounds of the event. And I will SO be there to yak it up. That's the whole point of going. I'll be a'larnin' new folks to lash feather and fur ta' hook and hopefully finally getting some actual instruction on how to wave the long stick. That being said, I hope you have a good time in the NaCl* environment and take lots of pictures. *It's pronounced "Nah-cluh".

*It's pronounced "Nah-cluh". I learn something every day around here. And here, I always thought it was pronounced salt.
