Myself and a few friends drove down and hired Guide Tim Redden out of Rockport yesterday. We wanted to pick up some nice reds and trout! We met Tim for some great breakfast tacos and then down to the ramp. He put his 1st class boat in the water and headed out! Wait did I say 1st class boat? Yes I did! He had a New Water flats boat which was plenty big for all four of us! On the way out he had explained the day that we were going to have and the techniques that we would use to catch some fish! All his equipment was top of the line and everything was ready to go. Tim was very knowledgeable and put us on some big fish! After the day of fishing was over he cleaned all of our fish and bagged them for us. Tim was a great guide with a fun personality. I am booking another trip soon! I would recommend Tim if you are thinking of heading to the coast for some fun fishing! His is a first class guide!!!

Here is his info!

Did ya'll get Tim to talk some baseball with ya?

He is a native of Rockport and the Rockport Pirates HS Baseball team is Ranked #7 in the State.

We not only know how to catch fish down here, but our kids can play some mean baseball.

You have received some spam email from a guide and your retaliation is to bash him on public forums? Have you tried asking to be removed from his email list?

Y'all need to handle your email issues off the TFF. If you had some problems with a trip, you are welcome to discuss them here, but no more bashing of this guide because you are getting email you don't want. There are plenty of ways for you to stop email coming from his address without losing access to other information.

I apologize to anyone who has ever gotten an email from me they didn't want, or heaven for bid wasn't entertaining. If you would like to have your name removed from the list, just email, or click the button at the bottom of the email that says,"remove me from the list."
As we all know, as guides, we have to exhaust all marketing ploys. I would much rather be out chasing trout and redfish, than sending email. Again, sorry to have milk spilled on a fishing sight. Sincerely, Tim Redden

Now that's a classy thing to do, TRedfish. thumb Welcome to TFF !

Looks like you guys had a good day on the water with what certainly appears to be a top notch guide. Those reds are just the right size for grilling on the half shell, Cajun style and made my mouth water. If you want to try a new recipe out on one of them, I have one on my little "fun" website: www.LouisianaFood.info

What can I say? I get bored late at night and need something to do. smile

Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

Thanks, Oldfrog. I have avoided for years coming on these sights. Quite frankly, probably won't be on much anymore. I have just always been disturbed by people who leave comments about individuals or products that they don't know, or haven't used. I normally don't "fire" back, but I have had a long week and felt at some time, you must hold your ground. You have a great site, and I will try your recipes. Tim

Tim, don't be afraid to post ip and give this board some fishing advice.

That will go a LONG way in helping your business prosper.

Reports and pics are cool, but sharing and helping is where IT is at.

If you're a guide and people have good things to say about your attitude and disposition, I'll have to give you a try sometime. I've taken out about 5 or six guides in your area and they have all been jerks! Keep the info coming TRedfish, and ignore the unhappy folks!

The Ibis is a great boat. Functional, and not bad to look at. Easy cleanup is one of the finest things about the boat. I have been fishing this boat for 3 years and the finish and all parts are still in great shape..
