Just get you a cooler and one of those cooler pads from Academy. You'll have a seat and storage/livewell. I have an airator in mine and I can keep any fish alive in it including shad when I'm chasing the stripes

Built one out of a cooler, like mentioned above, worked great. I did drill a hole in the side to run my wires to my battery and sealed it with marine grade silicon. Also had to drill a few holes in the lid to let fresh air in. Even with the aererator the oxygen runs out if the lid seals tight. Had trouble keeping it cool in the hot months and would add ice. it was cheap effecient and lasted several years.

large ice chest, bilge pump for pumping water in and out and an aerator. take it out when you dont need it Built one out of a cooler, like mentioned above, worked great. Seen something like that on a quick google search I did. I'll look into that!

I use a 55 gallon drum. Holds 3 fish to 50lbs. Nice! I like that idea. Good and cost effective. Do you ice it all or put in an aerator? Or just a drum and water?

How big is your boat Derek? Unless it's like Salsa's CC Skeeter you might want to keep it lower center of gravity than a drum. I could be wrong.

18' power cat. Stick steer. Here is a pic to give a basic idea. Lower center of gravity is good thinking.

In a boat laid out like that you ought to look into an Oval tank that could go in the middle. You could either go with something homemade or a good used greyline.

I mounted the seats with 6' between +/- for a cooler. Which I planned on using for throwing fish on/in. I'll look up the names you say. I need to be able to keep these fish alive for tourneys. Other than that, ice will do.

I've made several shad livewells out of the big round water jug coolers. Used an airator nozzle attached to a bilge pump and 1.5 inch clear plastic supply line for the drain. Drilled two holes near the top of the cooler, Marine Goop to seal and hold it in place nice and strong. It shouldn't be any harder to do it with a big rectangular cooler than the round water jug types...

I used the larges cooler I could find at Academy. I like the one set of wheels a partimes. I know at Cooper tourny, its get heavy carrying 160+ lbs of fish around.
Parttime, where did you get the little plastic box to mount the control? Thats the only thing I'm missing on mine.
