My battery needs replacing, 3 years old and wont hold a charge long.

I would like an optimum marine battery, however im trying to get a good battery for a decent price.

I went to Sams earlier and was wondering thru there auto center mostly tires and batteries, and saw they had 3 interstate Marine batteries from $56-$90 depending on size.

Anybody know if they are good, i had an interstate battery in my car and never had a problem w/ it.

Thats all I have in my boat. Go right to the Interstate Battery dealer and they will even install them for you.

Same here. Just bought an Interstate cranking battery for my Stratos and just for fun I weighed it and the old battery. The Interstate weighed 10 lbs. more so they are built pretty good.

Fishin' for fun!

Interstate is a Crappie Anglers of Texas (CAT) sponsor. Members that have done business with them have all expressed solid and good comments from the battery itself or service. I have had the same experience.

You'll want to contact:
Dustin Pierce (Manager)
Interstate All Battery
10200 Plano Road ste 100
Dallas TX 75238
214.687.1094 cell
469.221.4500 office
469.221.4513 fax

He is giving CAT members a discount but I would be truthful if you're not and tell him if you're not. My take is he'll probably take care of you anyway. Just let him know CAT referred him/Interstate.

I've tried Interstates several times over the last 30 years of boating, and I've yet to have an Interstate last any longer that any other battery. From now on I'm buying all my batteries at Wal-Mart if for no other reason than price and easy exchange/replacement as long as you have a receipt.

I never thought I would own anything but an AGM style battery. However, my new boat came with Interstates and I'm pleasantly surprised what a great battery they are.

Try not to buy anything from Walmart if I can help it. Destroyed the america business place.

Be cautious about buying batteries from Sams or like places. Some of those batteries have been in a warehouse sitting for quite some time.

Interstate batteries are top notch and you have a good amount of dealers around to help you in an emergency.

I use an interstate deepcycle for cranking -- the last one lasted nearly 6 years.
