http://www.hobiecat.com/kayaks/mirage/pro-angler/ from the videos i have seen you can stand in this one and fish quiet easily. Though the price tag is a huge setback is all. I have Hobie myself just not this one and havent seen this on on the water, just what i have seen in the videos.

You can stand in a native, also check out the malibu stealths. I have a pro angler and it is an incredible fishing machine it is expensive but it's my favorite yak by far

Native Ultimate Lineup & Versa Board, Wilderness Systems Ride 135, Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game, Diablo Paddlesports Adios & Chupacabra, Cobra Kayaks Fish-n-Dive, Jackson Kayak Coosa, practically the entire Malibu Kayaks lineup, and maybe some more.
Wider kayaks are more stable, but are slower in the water. It's a trade off for sure.

Im thinking of buying a kayak what are the best ones to be able to stand in and fish? What about the natives? You need a wave walk.

Your size and agility will make a huge difference though. I stand up and paddle/fish in my scrambler.

do you own a bass boat? if so your prob aware that that there are a lot of different manf. really, they can all get the job done, even the earliest ones. there are folks that will swear by one & the next guy will tell you that same boat is poorly designed. but from one to the next there are real differences that set them apart which you wont know till you own one.
same with kayaks. isn't ONE BEST kayak that does everything well. there are many nice ones on the market. if your sea legs are good you can stand in a majority of em. if your popeye you can stand in almost all of them. IMO, you wont stand long in about 95 perc. if you can stand confortably for long periods of time expect some performance drawbacks. "pondbass" knows the yak made by diablo, "folcat1" can give you all the info on the wavewalk & i remember a recent discussion on the native one your probably referring to. maybe someone remembers that link. it was pretty informative. recently one of the guys has been sharing some impressive river info on the koosa by jackson. most can agree on this: to know what your really getting you should paddle as many as possible side by side before you buy.

There are a lot that will stand adequately, but some stand out.
While standing may be a very important requirement, as FZ, Neumi and others said there are a lot that will do the job, but take the time to paddle each that you might consider. There should be opportunities to take a demo ride in almost anything you want. If they will not provide a demo ride for you that speaks volumes.
Paddling will occupy far more of your time than standing and casting with the wrong yak. A couple of the ones mentioned actually have floor boards intending for standing on.
The Natives have a very good following as do several of the small catamarans or pontoon type hulls. The Hobies cost a bit more but are second to none in stability and function with the Mirage drive. You can see many of these brands at Mariner Sails and they do an in water demo every week with weather permitting. I know they will be bringing some fun toys to the Spring GTG for rides.
I paddle a Hobie Pro Angler and it will allow a fat boy like me and three dancing girls to stand on one side of it. :-)
Good luck, Phill

First kayak designed fir fisherman I wouldn't go quite that far. Wait a min. I was told my scrambler was designed for fishermen. That's why it has two flush mount rod holders!
