and you havent had any issues with scales or other debris clogging up the pump? what do you think about this? not sure if it is the same thing as you have set up and I havent been able to find any reviews on it either http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/pr...mp;merchID=4005

No scales on cats.  but slim can be a problem. I'm looking for a cleanable filter medium now.

I've seen people use kits like that one, it would work. Bass Pro and Cabelas both have kits to convert coolers into livewells.

No scales on cats. but slim can be a problem. I'm looking for a cleanable filter medium now. good point, is ee some of them come with a filter wrapped around the outside. I am sure that would be to easy to fabricate your self. thanks again for all the help.
