It is a power plant lake known for its excellent ramp and facilities located outside of Hallsville, TX.

Is the big hole still in the road leading to the ramp? Seen a broken leaf spring and axil in the parking lot last year.

Somebody was nice enough to fix alot of the craters/potholes on the road in, but it still needs alot of work.

Remember to leave your truck windows down so when they steal your stuff they won't need to break them out

we're headed out tuesday. It'll be the first time since it got cold, so not sure how the fishing is. The plant is running right now and from what my partner said the water temps are high. I would guess that the fish aren't at a full spawn yet most should be in a prespawn mode on the hot side. yeah be careful when you come in the roads were still bad last month someone took the time to fill the big crater in with some logs and stumps *cough* genious *cough*. I wouldn't test their strength. I've never had any problems with theft at the lake (knock on wood).

Went today for my first time me and my boy went for about 2hrs no beds were seen but caught 8 fish in the 2-3lb range good and healthy all right near the bank. Water temps were 81 on hot side and about 64 on cold side. Spawn should be right around the corner.
