Fanfare. That's what most restaurants use.

4 or 5 beers. 1/3 bottle tequila. triple sec to taste, 1 can Frozen Limeade. Strong, but not too sweet. When I used to drink, this was my go to mix.

I am new to this forum so i just thought i would give my thoughts on the topic. wasn't sure if i should start a new thread or if it was okay to post on this older topic. the best margarita mix I have found so far is Margarita Texas Mix. makes authentic tasting margaritas every time. i first tried them last august at the margarita and salsa festival in waco. man, they were strong! i bought some of their mix and made some awesome margaritas last time we were at the lake. yah, you can squeeze a bunch of limes but why waste all that time? they even have a beer margarita recipe that uses the mix!!!

Baja Bobs! It is sugar/carb free and IMO taste better than the Rasta mixers out there. You can find at any reputable liquor store. http://www.bajabob.com/orsugfremarm.html

Shake with ice, pour immediately on the rocks. Now that's a margarita, and pretty much what I was gonna post

Here's my recipe One (small) can of limeade. 1/2 can of triple sec. 1 can of tequila or vodka. I prefer vodka, call 'em vodka-ritas. Tequila makes me do stupid things.
All ingredients go into a blender. Fill the blender the rest of the way up with ice and blend it until the ice is crushed.
Good stuff. I do the same but take the limeade can and fill it up 1/2 way with 7Up or Sprite. Not sure how it changes the recipe but it's what my family has always done so I do too. We used Cointreau instead of Triple Sec last time we made some, it was good.

Go to Specs and buy a bottle of "Dicks" margarita mix. it will be the best margarita you have ever had. You will never buy anything else after having one of these.

The best margarita's I have ever made came from a can of limade (walmart brand), tripple sec, and tequilla.

I love margaritas on the rocks. The ones my dad makes are the best I have ever had. You need a juicer 5 shots of lemon juice 4 shots of triple sec 2 shots of tequila (white tequila, preferrably herrudura or don julio) expensive but it really pays off. pour all of them in a shaker3 quarters full of crushed ice. (crushed ice is important) Shake the hell out of it and pour. Adjust lemon and tequila to taste. 4 triple secs have never been wrong for us though. serve with an orange wedge and a salted rim and they will never get enough of them. Careful though they really sneak up on you

I have mine mixed for me at 7 Leguas in Magnolia. They mix 'em and bring 'em to me.
They're good and $14.00 a pitcher during Happy Hour.

Ok guys if you want the best you have to make it yourself and heres how to do it. Fresh squeezed juice 1 1/2 cup lime juice, 3/4 cup lemon juice, 1/2 cup orange juice, 1 1/2 cup water, and 1 cup sugar and mix. It will take about 8 limes 4 lemons and 2 oranges to get the juice. Its a bit of work but trust me its the best there is and I know a thing or two on this subject.

Oh and I prefer mine with Cuervo 1800 and Grand Marnier. But you can use what ever teq you prefer. That mix will make any teq taste good.

Juice of 1 lime. 1 can frozen MinuteMaid Limeade. 8 oz. tequila. 4 oz. triple sec. Mix in blender. Fill with ice. Blend until smooth.
I use Sauza Tequila Gold most of the time, and sometimes I use Sauza Tequila Silver for a different taste.

Add the juice from some prickly pears. Get the purple ripe pears, crush, strain the juce and add to your margarita.
